Post—Graduate Education
Dr. Stephen R. Bjorklund and staff of four professionals have been
creating new smiles for discriminating adults for nearly 20 years.
Located in Wayzata near the shores of Lake Minnetonka, Dr. Bjorklund
and his staff combine twenty first century knowledge and technology
with a personal touch that is so often missing in larger, volume-
driven dental facilities.
Realizing that combining the science of functional dentistry with
that of cosmetic dentistry is a continual learning process, Dr.
Bjorklund has committed himself to an unusual amount of post—graduate
training. In addition to the many lecture and "hands—on"
courses (including the Advanced Anterior Esthetic course at the
prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies) that
he attended this past year, Dr. Bjorklund also completed his course
work and testing for Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Along with these clinical studies, Dr. Bjorklund also completed
a nineteen month long course in management techniques that have
taught him and his staff to interact with patients in a caring,
friendly and professional way so that the wants of all patients
are discussed and provided.
Dr. Bjorklund and his wife, Shari, live with their three boys (and
a couple of bulldogs) in his childhood home on beautiful Lake Minnetonka.
